NEW TECHNICAL GUIDE FOR GOYA SUGAR BEET
The Technical and Marketing Guide for Goya Sugar Beet has been published and is now available to growers. The guide gives comprehensive agronomic information on the variety which is newly-added to the 2008 BBRO-funded NIAB Recommended List of sugar beet varieties.
Goya is the top performer in the Provisionally Recommended Rhizomania-resistant varieties category and combines a very high adjusted tonnage yield potential with outstanding disease resistance.
It has a unique combination of Rhizomania resistance with the best foliar disease resistance in its category. Goya also is considered a first choice processors beet and gives top juice quality for high sugar with low impurities.
