Combining Peas

The Limagrain pea involvement is very wide ranging from breeding green peas for human consumption to varieties for animal feed purposes. The Limagrain Group has two pea breeding sites, Norfolk in the UK, and Holland. Limagrain UK also represent European pea breeders as marketing agents.

The UK pea breeding programme is led by Milika Buurman. The team holds an impressive list of pea varieties to their name which are cultivated not just in all major European pea growing areas but also in New Zealand and North America.
