Spring Barley

Limagrain are leading breeders of spring barley. Although based in the UK, the programme has a very European flavour and is designed to enable selection and development of varieties for the key European markets. These markets include UK, Denmark, France, Germany, Sweden and Spain.

The barley breeding team is led by Mark Glew. The team has an excellent track record of producing successful spring barley varieties for many different markets, for instance Concerto and Belgravia (UK).
